The dominant code for pressure equipment design, fabrication and NDT (Sections V, VIII, IX).
The ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code governs much of the world's pressure equipment. Section V defines NDE methods, Section VIII covers pressure vessel design and construction, and Section IX covers welding and brazing qualification.
