EN ISO 17635 is the umbrella standard that defines the general rules and evaluation principles for the NDT methods to be applied in welded fabrications. It guides which methods (VT, PT, MT, RT, UT, ET) are to be applied according to material, thickness and quality level, and refers to detailed method and acceptance standards such as EN ISO 5817 (weld imperfection acceptance levels). It frames the scope of most European weld inspections offered by TESKO.
